EMPOWERED AGING:
An Online Retreat for 40+ Women
You asked - I listened!
Many ladies have been asking for my list of supplements and the changes I've made to my workout routine and skincare/makeup during perimenopause to menopause.
It's been a TON of trial and error, but I'm finding my sweet spot and I want you to as well. Seriously, it has felt like a full time job, but I am determined to feel amazing (not just good, average or fine) so I'm able to rock out my greater work in the world. I will not give up and I don't want you to either.
But, it is vital to remember that your wellness plan is YOURS. There is not a one-size-fits-all routine that works for everyone. I've been curating and tweaking things since I entered menopause in 2020.
*DISCLAIMER: This is not intended to be medical advice. I'm simply sharing my experience with the intention to give you some guidance in the right direction.
Recently, I've gone through another "valley" season with figuring out new nagging health issues. From mystery fatigue to an overloaded toxin bucket to EMF exposure to long haul C-19 issues and all during menopause -- seems to be a cruel joke, but ladies, we are warriors. Per usual, I slowed down and forced myself to rest, leaned into God and the term "EMPOWERED AGING" kept coming to my spirit.

You know our need to put a label on things?!! For decades, the term 'anti-aging' has infiltrated the beauty industry. Of course, in my 20-30's, I didn't really tune in to the verbiage, but now that I'm in my 50's, I want to define it with something that resonates.
When I looked up the term "anti" (you know I'm a definition and word girl), when I read the words "opposed to or against" -- my spirit say "NO". It is a privilege to be this age and my body is a gift, a temple.
This is what I encourage you to focus on as well. Have you felt disempowered in your 40's -- as if you have lost control?
At times, I felt like my head wasn't connected to my body-- a body I didn't recognize anymore. It's a weird and wild sensation, to say the least. I remember my mom saying, "at 40, you'll need readers" and she was spot on.

Also, at 40 -- I was getting botox regularly to combat the fine lines creeping up on my forehead and around my eyes. There weren't any signs of gray hair yet, but I occasionally felt achy and was losing my libido. Oh, and PMS had turned to PMDD which made half the month feel like I was in the depth of hell and depression.

Can't forget to mention-- at 38, I was diagnosed with ADD and put on adult Ritalin with a mild anti-depressant. At the same time, I had broken out for the first time in my life with horrific cystic acne on my chin and jawline. AHHHHH! My gyno never once suggested I get my hormones checked. She simply put me on a birth control pill that was suppose to help with PMDD and hormonal acne.

I NEVER HEARD THE TERM "PERIMENOPAUSE" UNTIL I WAS IN THE THICK OF IT AT 44-45.

Women are so blessed to have this conversation going mainstream now so you can get ahead of it. I want to contribute to the convo and share, not only my experience, but what I have gained and learned. There is so much negativity surrounding menopause (and it is rough, gurrrrrl) but, I am grateful for the gifts it has brought me now. (That may need to be a whole other workshop!)

I FELT DISEMPOWERED + OUT OF CONTROL, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO...
It's time to take your power back over your well-being...
everything from your mental health,
nervous system,
energy levels,
sexual health,
sense of style,
sense of humor,
creativity,
dreams & passions
and yes, from perimenopause/menopause.
We do not have to relinquish power to these changes. As my hubby so sweetly coined menopause as the "hot chick continuation" -- let's take this season as an opportunity to fine tune ourselves and BE who we were called to BE.
Midlife is where we truly get, yes- "get" to be, do and have what were are called to. I know it often feels like life is over, but I invite you to shift your mindset, sis.
More and more, I'm receiving comments like "Tiff, you're like Benjamin Button and are aging backwards". As much as I appreciate that as I'm coming up on my 54th birthday this August, I am aging -- we all are and I view it as a great privilege.
There is so much information coming at us it's like drinking from a fire hose.
Do ya feel like you're drowning?
Do you feel paralyzed trying to keep up and end up not doing anything?
Luckily, I "nerd out" to researching and learning about all the latest supplements, treatments and protocols.
I have learned so much from our longtime German Naturopathic Doctor and the hormone specialists we partner with -- plus, I'm an avid podcast listener. Most of all, I've learned to ADVOCATE for myself and take my health into my own hands. Isn't that the true definition of "empowerment"?
You may not have the time to tune in to all the pods and watch health videos on social media so I'm intiviting you to join me for an ONLINE RETREAT where I will share what I've been learning, (My content is getting censored more and more on social media so there are a few powerful things I haven't even mentioned there yet.)

This is one of the most important seasons in a woman's life! It's time to invest in YOU, your well-being and purpose.
On this journey, I've realized it's nearly impossible to FULLY live out the plan and purpose for our life if we are dis-eased, sluggish, moody, battling low energy and worst of all -- beating ourselves up for it.
As your guide (not your guru), I'm ridiculously obsessed with seeing you walk taller,
your eyes filled with sparkle, joy and clarity,
your energy radiating and saying to the world that "I am a bold baddie!"
Can't wait to spend the afternoon with you!
Crown Up,
Tiff

P.S. A wellness program/morning routine isn't downing a cup of coffee right as you stumble into the kitchen then eating a protein bar on the go. This season is about nourishing yourself and devoting mindful time and attention to YOU...body, mind, spirit.
In order to "age empowered" and truly thrive, we must give up survival mode and putting everyone ahead of ourselves. It's time to resign the people pleasing princess and step into the queen God created you to be.
